"Got to have a car not a good place to commute from gotta cross a mountain so that can be a pain day after day there are not many places to work up here but it’s a awesome place to retire to. The largest city is about an hour away. I love living here I don’t mind the mountain drive up & down it’s always beautiful here how the lake meets the mountains "

"Friendly community with lots of activities. Continued Learning Classes at Young Harris College, lots of card players, mahjong players, etc. Outside activities galore with a great community recreation center."

"I have lived here since Oct 2017 the ppl are so friendly and kind. I do need to get out and meet ppl im not sure how to do that tho. I knows about the area and fell in love with this community when my grandparents had a vacation home here so when my children went off to college i moved here "
