Always dreamed of having your own in-house dive bar? Well, you’re in luck, because comedian Adam Carolla is now leasing out his funky and unconventional Spanish-style home in Hollywood for $13,500 a month!
Located at 3052 Lake Hollywood Drive, Carolla purchased the 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom, 5,757 square foot place on April 18, 2003 for $1,630,000.
One of the first homes in the Lake Hollywood area, Carolla’s for-lease abode was built in 1928 and later restored with traditional Spanish-style elements, including arched doorways, leaded glass windows, hand-carved wood beams, chandeliers, tile floors and large courtyards for entertaining.
While it may look like any other Spanish-style home in the neighborhood from the outside, inside, Carolla’s house is anything but ordinary. Downstairs, the house features a large, custom-built entertainment room, complete with a full dive bar and pool table, looking into the pool with glass-view port-holes.
Not stopping there, the house’s custom-built garage is enormous, with room for 10 cars and a hoist. There is also private parking on the grounds for an additional 10-12 cars.
Carolla and his wife Lynette own this high-priced property, but live full-time in nearby La Canada Flintridge, in a home they bought in the summer of 2013 for $2,965,000. Like anyone in LA who’s had any sort of financial success, the Carolla’s also have a Malibu home. They paid $3.6 million for that beach pad in 2007.
