Cameron Diaz Lists Her Kelly Wearstler-Designed New York Apartment For Sale

The newlywed’s bachelorette pad is officially on the market for $4.25 million.

With a new love nest to share with hubby Benji Madden, Cameron Diaz has officially put her swanky bachelorette pad up for sale in New York, NY — for $4.25 million.

The two-bed, two-bath luxury home is exactly the type of lair you’d expect one of Hollywood’s hottest ladies to live in when she’s in New York. It was designed by celebrity designer Kelly Wearstler and has even been featured in a cover story for Elle Decor. Located in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, the 1,400-square-foot home is in the only prewar building in the neighborhood and brightly lit by southern exposures.

A dining room opens out to the sunny living room, where a wood-burning fireplace and painted custom cabinetry create a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. Ivory silk shades hang from windows, while handmade wallpaper creates a unique background. We imagine this is where Diaz and her fellow Charlie’s Angels, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore, kick back with a bottle of wine (or three) and laugh about the good old days together. (It’s the 15th anniversary of that film by the way, if you feel like weeping into a bag of Doritos over the end of your youth.)

A glamorous kitchen with a large pull-out pantry features deep emerald-green artisanal cabinets contrasted with unlaquered brass counters, backsplash, and sink fittings.

The master bedroom is ideal for the type of gal who spends significant time on the red carpet; custom closets with cabinets accented in antique gold and mirrored glass provide space for those Oscar gowns, while the master bath, described as “sexy and glamorous,” features glass tiles by Ann Sacks. Meanwhile, the second bedroom has its own bathroom, featuring black marble flooring and a custom brass shower and sink.

In true superstar style, each room has electronic black-out shades, because you know how pesky the prying eyes of the paparazzi can be. There’s also an option to buy this home fully furnished if you can’t get enough of Diaz’s great sense of style.

The actress bought the home in 2008 for $2.5 million and renovated it from the studs up — but we’re guessing the chic, feminine style of this place no longer suits her new life with Madden, who just debuted a new head tattoo. Remember when she dated some of the hottest men in Hollywood, such as Justin Timberlake and Jared Leto? Yeah, us too.

But don’t fret for Diaz; according to The Wall Street Journal, she recently dropped $9.52 million on a three-bedroom home in Walker Tower in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood. Now that’s what we call a love nest.
