Candace Cameron Bure Heads Back To Hollywood (And A $2.35 Million Home In Malibu)

Serious question: Whatever happened to predictability?

Candace Cameron Bure, the Full House star turned co-host of The View, has snagged a new home for sale in Malibu, CA, with her husband, retired hockey player Valeri Bure.

The four-bed, three-bath home, which measures 2,564 square feet, is quite a haul from their most recent abode in Plantation, FL. But the duo just sold their five-bed, seven-bath Florida home for $1.445 million. (They bought it back in 2001 for $1.377 million.)

Guess it’s time for Cameron to get back in the Hollywood spotlight! (Even if said spotlight is on a show that’s supposed to resemble the Tanner family’s life in San Francisco.)

Built in 1965, the Bures’ new Sunset Mesa home is a meticulously maintained California contemporary featuring an open floor plan spread over three levels. A spacious living room, complete with a Mid-Century–style rock fireplace, has vaulted ceilings and sweeping ocean views. A dining room located right off the kitchen has a breakfast area that opens out to the picturesque backyard.

Upstairs, two updated stone-and-tile baths provide significant space for a growing family. The bright, airy master suite offers panoramic ocean views. On the lower level, there’s a large family room, and a bedroom and bath, which opens up to the patio and yard.

Speaking of the yard, this home’s spread is landscaped and green, with plenty of room for when Candace decides to invite over her brother, Growing Pains star turned religious figure Kirk Cameron, for a good old family reunion. With a majestic mountain backdrop, a swimming pool provides the ultimate place for family get-togethers or the entire Tanner family.

But Candace will be spending a lot of her time in a different new home: Just over a month ago, she shared a photo of the home for the Netflix reboot of Full House, the appropriately titled Fuller House. It’s been 20 years since the original show went off the air. Have mercy!
