Cheers! Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen List Venice Home

One of Hollywood’s most-beloved couples is saying goodbye to their Venice hideaway.

Everyone’s favorite Cheers bartender Ted Danson and his longtime wife, Orange Is the New Black and The Last Man on Earth star Mary Steenburgen, have listed their three-bed, three-bath home in the artsy, oceanside enclave of Venice, CA, for $1.749 million.

Measuring 1,520 square feet, the charming one-story home was built in 1921 but fully remodeled in 2013. Tucked behind hedges and a security gate, the home is framed by lush gardens, perfect for the environmental do-gooders.

The master suite has French doors that open out to the rear gardens, while the rest of the home features an open floor plan. A two-car garage, outdoor laundry room, and separate playroom/office space provide extra room for family activity.

The duo bought the home back in 2013 for $929,000, a bargain by Hollywood standards. But in true Tinseltown style, it isn’t their only home. They also own a spacious five-bed, four-bath mansion in Santa Monica, CA, which they snagged just last year for $3.47 million. And there’s a deluxe Ojai, CA, estate, which they purchased back in 2005 for $4.5 million. The couple also like to head back east during the summers to their estate in the Chilmark, MA, area, where they own two homes.

But even with all of their properties, we doubt the pair will ditch sunny California for the freezing-cold temps of North Dakota — though Danson did recently sign on for season two of the hit FX series Fargo.
