Colbie Caillat Is Flipping Her $6.4 Million Mansion in Hidden Hills

After buying last summer, the singer is already selling her spacious Los Angeles home.

The hills are alive with the sound of Colbie Caillat. Hidden Hills, to be exact.

The “Bubbly” singer, known for her laid-back jams and beach-casual style, is flipping her Santa Barbara–style estate in Hidden Hills, the popular Los Angeles gated community. In fact, she just put it on the market for $6.4 million — mere months after snagging the house for $6.1 million in August of last year.

You may have heard of the exclusive celebrity enclave before, seeing as other famous folk like Kimye and Drake also hang their hats in HH at the end of the day.

The 8,400-square-foot home is a six-bed, eight-bath beauty spread out over mostly one level. A red clay roof with stucco exterior emphasizes the whole Mediterranean feel, as do the French oak flooring and glass doors.

Guests are welcomed by a private bell-tower courtyard entry, as well as four parking spaces, because we know Colbie needed a place for her vintage Jeep collection so she can zoom off to the beach at any moment.

Upon entry, the home is flooded with light and leads from the foyer into the “great room,” which continues outside to the stone-floored covered loggia, where the “Try” singer no doubt worked on some acoustic jams.

From the looks of it, Colbie didn’t make a ton of changes through the flipping process. Most of the modifications appear cosmetic, like ditching the stodgy media room’s style for a comfortable couch-filled hangout and adding some color to a generally bland palette.

The backyard was a perfect place for a superchill gal like Colbie, featuring a pool with a Baja shelf feature for catching some rays, an oversized spa, an outdoor kitchen, and a 52-inch gas grill. Do you think she invited her other superchill musician friends, like Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews, to hang out by the pool and talk about puka shell necklaces?

She previously lived in a Westlake Village, CA, crib, which she sold last summer, as well as in a Tarzana, CA, home with her parents, which was featured on an episode of MTV’s Cribs. However, she sold those digs back in 2013, Realestalker then reported.

Fun fact: the buyer of her Tarzana house was none other than breakout Selma star David Oyelowo.
