Funnyman Craig Ferguson Lists Longtime Beachwood Canyon Villa

Craig Ferguson, host of “The Late, Late Show,” is selling his long-time home in the Beachwood Canyon neighborhood of Los Angeles. Purchased by the funnyman on November 26, 1997 for $569,000, Ferguson is hoping to make a nice profit if he sells it for the current listing price of $1,995,000.

Ultra private, walled and gated, Ferguson’s abode is a 1930’s Spanish with spectacular canyon and city light views. This one-of-a-kind, old-Hollywood 2,385 square-foot estate sits on a double lot and features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office, dramatic formal living and dining rooms, extra-large family room and detached guest suite. Features include original tile, stained glass windows, hardwood floors, wood-paned windows and original detailing throughout. A tranquil deck off the living room with mesmerizing views overlooks the huge swimmer’s pool, patios and lush, professionally-landscaped gardens.

Where is he moving to? According to public records, Ferguson (via a trust) purchased a craftsmen-style home less than a mile away on Canyon Dr. in Los Angeles for $4,100,000 on April 6, 2012.

Jana Jones-Duffy, Fred Holley and Kelly Sutherland of Coldwell Banker hold the listing.
