Spy star Jason Statham has listed his Hollywood Hills pad for $8.999 million, but don’t expect to see the handsome Brit with nowhere to go any day soon; he’s got two new homes in the Los Angeles area.
Just last month, Statham snagged a Mid-Century Modern home just off the Sunset Strip for $2.7 million. And back in March, he and longtime love Rosie Huntington-Whiteley purchased a $13 million pad in Beverly Hills. Maybe when their acting careers slow down, they’ll consider becoming real estate tycoons.
As for the Hollywood Hills home that Statham’s hoping to unload, it’s had a lot of celeb traction. The six-bed, six-bath mansion previously belonged to funny guy Ben Stiller. Statham bought the 5,334-square-foot home from Stiller back in 2011 to the tune of $7.325 million. Tucked behind gates in the luxe Outpost Estates neighborhood — Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard also used to live in the ’hood — the Spanish-style home, built in 1929, is a true Mediterranean beauty. Overlooking the canyon, its outdoor area includes a swimming pool, grassy yard, dining area, and lush gardens spread out on the half-acre property.
Clearly things are going well for Statham and Huntington-Whiteley, one of Hollywood’s hottest couples. He’s busy starring in flicks opposite Melissa McCarthy, while she’s blowing up her new lingerie line all over Instagram.
