Jenny’s got a new spot on the block!
According to the New York Daily News, Jennifer Lopez just dropped $22,000,000 on a luxury penthouse in the same Manhattan building as Chelsea Clinton and NASCAR star Jeff Gordon.
Designed by Nate Berkus’ interior designer hubby, Jeremiah Brent, J. Lo’s new luxury penthouse overlooks Madison Square Park in the Whitman building. Originally built in 1924, the Whitman is a prewar, ultra-high-end condominium with just four residences total — all with direct park views, high ceilings, and a full-service doorman.
J. Lo’s new penthouse is the building’s crown jewel. The truly exceptional duplex penthouse has 6,250 square feet of interior space and over 3,000 square feet of private outdoor space on two levels. The home is outfitted with the ultimate in luxury finishes, including Arclinea custom kitchen cabinets, Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, wide-plank rift oak floors, Italian marble slab bathrooms, and a Crestron smart-home system.
J. Lo last went big in New York when she spent $10,000,000 for a gorgeous house in the Hamptons. On the West Coast, she still lives in the Hidden Hills mega-mansion she once shared with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
