Queen of Fab Kimora Lee Simmons Ditching Modest Beverly Hills Estate

The fabulous Kimora Lee Simmons, an entrepreneur, designer, author, proud mother and fashion mogul, is looking to unload her relatively modest Beverly Hills estate for $4,650,000. The Style Network star of her own reality show, “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” purchased the “country home” around the height of the market in 2007 and is now taking a dose of a different kind of reality – that of a down real estate economy. Like many sellers in today’s struggling market, Kimora is selling at a loss and has been forced to slash 21 percent of her original $5.9 million buying price. Maybe announcing that new mom Jessica Simpson will be the potential buyer’s new neighbor might kick the bidding war into high gear?

As Kimora is known for her extravagant, bright and bold style, we feel this home was never a fit for her anyway. The original 2007 listing description painted the home “country” all around. Since the move-in date, Kimora flipped the property and gave the place a splash of fab and sparkle – check out the old listing photos – however, it still doesn’t have that over-the-top zing as her previous palaces. On to the next!

Sitting on a private, gated street, the 6-bedroom, 8-bath, 5,923 square foot house is cute and quaint for Hollywood’s standards with modestly sized living quarters. The two-story property features a dining room, formal living room with fireplace, a newly remodeled kitchen, and separate breakfast room. The master suite includes a fireplace, sitting and office room and fancy walk-in closet. A fun playroom can be found on a secret third floor. The exterior includes a pool, full patio, and boasts an extra large grassy area.
