Lauren Conrad Selling Hollywood “Hills” Home At A Loss

Lauren Conrad, who first graced television screens on MTV’s “Laguna Beach” and later became a bonafide star via the faux-reality TV show “The Hills,” is ready to rid herself of the Hollywood Hills home that she once filmed the iconic series in. If you’re one of the millions who turned in every week to get your fix of fashion, catfights, beach parties and dimly-lit nightclub scenes, you’ll recognize the home as the very one that Lauren used to share with “frenemy” Audrina Patridge, who took up residence in the cottage in the back. The show has ridden off into the reality-tv sunset, the friendships have all dissolved, but real estate remains. Now, Miss Conrad is looking to let go of the last piece of her “Hills” past.

Conrad’s for-sale abode is a 1920’s Spanish gated home with a fountain courtyard entry. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, plus a den. The detached guesthouse has a full bath. The home boasts refinished hardwood floors throughout, a custom kitchen with Lagos Azul counters and high-end appliances. Other features include beautiful wrought iron work, original moldings and traditional spanish floor tiles. The home also has amazing outdoor space with a grassy, sun filled yard, a lap pool, and an outdoor fireplace – perfect for entertaining. The outside of the home features beautiful landscaping with roses and perfectly sculpted vines. Perfect for a celebrity, the home has a full security system with 10 cameras and intercoms.

According to the very in-the-know Real Estalker, Lauren purchased the home for a very star-like sum of $2,360,000 in early 2008. Her neighbors weren’t big fans of Conrad or the caravans of tour buses that rolled by the home on a regular basis, so Lauren fled for a another residence higher in the hills (naturally), rented the home out for a while, and now it’s officially on the market.
