Leonardo DiCaprio Finally Sells Beachfront Malibu Compound For $17.35 Million!

Leonardo DiCaprio is now officially “departing” from his seven bedroom, six bathroom Malibu beachfront home.

‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star just sold the stunning spread for $17.35 million. While it’s nothing to scoff at, the hunky actor got considerably less than the $23 million he initially asked when he first heaved the property on the market in November 2012.

We thought DiCaprio would “never let go” of his Cape Cod inspired home, as he listed it for lease with a $150,000-a-month price tag for the past two summer seasons and then officially re-listed it for sale for $18 million.

DiCaprio purchased his just-sold Malibu manse on October 9, 2002 for $6 million. The unique property is made up of three separate houses sitting on one large, coveted, 2,633 square-foot lot. A four-bedroom main house sits on the stunning Malibu ocean-front, and a two-bedroom detached guest house and third detached loft with gym, media room, seventh bedroom and office area follow behind. Completely renovated from head to toe, DiCaprio’s unique home also included private parking, maid quarters, gardens, lawns and private beach entry – making it one luxurious beachfront compound.

DiCaprio is shunning his West Coast life and  becoming an even larger fixture in New York City, where he just paid millions for a condo in a residential development that combines green and sustainable building practices with wellness and health-centric features for residents.
