Lil Wayne Lists Mammoth $18 Million Miami Mansion

The rapper is ready to say goodbye to his sprawling custom home on ritzy La Gorce Island in Biscayne Bay.

For someone who sings about “a milli,” Lil Wayne is hoping to make 18 of them.

The Cash Money rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. but who often goes by “Weezy,” has put his nine-bed, 10-bath Miami mansion on the market.

Located on the uber-ritzy La Gorce Island in Biscayne Bay, the sprawling home, which measures over 15,000 square feet, is currently listed for $18 million. When he raps that he’s a “Young Money Millionaire,” he means it.

Lil Wayne bought the sick pad in 2006 for the bargain price of $11.6 million. If sold at his current asking price, he’d make a $6.4 million profit off the sale, which would buy a whole lot of Purple Drank.

In addition to wacky features like a rooftop skate park, there’s even a three-bedroom guest home on the property, whose master suite is reachable by a glass elevator, a la Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. This architectural beauty combines the modernism of steel and glass with classic wooden features and various marble accents.

It’s been a Full House at Weezy’s Florida home lately, but this is no wholesome family fun-fest with Danny Tanner and Co.

First there came reports of four people being shot at the house, resulting in a SWAT team sweeping the premises. Luckily, the police call turned out to be a fake one, sent in by someone who’s not so crazy about Lil Wayne’s ways.

Just a few weeks ago, a prostitute showed up at the house claiming she was ordered for “services” by Lil Wayne. But when she got there, it turned out Weezy hadn’t even requested her services and it was all a prank.

And then in February, a “suspicious lurker” was found loitering on the property, TMZ.com reported. Just some of the typical happenings in the life of this lollipop-loving rap star that may have prompted him to list and leave.
