Miley Cyrus Buys $4 Million Home in Hidden Hills

Hey, y’all! You can take the girl out of Tennessee, but it seems you can’t take the Tennessee out of Miley Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus, the Disney tween-star-turned-wild-child, just bought a $4 million pad in the chi-chi Los Angeles suburb of Hidden Hills — but the ritzy ranch is much more country than Cali-influenced.

The seven-bed, six-bath spread is an equestrian ranch property, perfect for any celeb looking to avoid the prying eyes of the paparazzi. (Or obsessed superfans: the 22-year-old recently had three break-ins at her home in LA’s Toluca Lake neighborhood.) The 6,000-square-foot home was built in 1954. A dramatic loft-style great room, accented with wide-plank wood floors and beamed ceilings, includes several seating areas as well as a formal dining area, brick fireplace, and wet bar. There’s also a 1,000-bottle wine cellar and a gourmet chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a breakfast bar.

When Miley’s feeling outdoorsy, she can head on over to the 1-acre riding arena and its 10-stall barn with tack and storage. And there’s always the chicken coop with a henhouse, or the vegetable and citrus garden. Not to mention the vineyard, with more than 550 cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapevines.

French doors open to a wraparound covered veranda that overlooks the extensive grounds. Entertaining is ideal at this country paradise, which features a swimming pool, spa, built-in barbecue, covered lanai, and outdoor fireplace with mature shade trees. So far, there’s no mention of the home having a recording studio, but Miley did just announce that she’ll be laying down some tracks with ’90s rockers The Flaming Lips. Perhaps her fellow Hidden Hills residents could come over for a party. Let’s see, there’s Kim and Kanye, Drake, and even songbird Colbie Caillat.

Miley put down just over $4 million for the home, but that’s just pocket change for the “Wrecking Ball” singer, who made headlines with her barely-there Alexander Wang gown at the Met Gala on May 4.

She’s just being Miley! And by “being Miley,” we mean acquiring millions of dollars in real estate.
