NJ ‘Housewife’ Teresa Giudice Lists Mansion Amid Legal Troubles

The couples lists just weeks before they're set to be sentenced to time in "the big house."

Teresa and Joe Giudice of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” fame are selling their large Towaco, NJ house just weeks before they’re set to be sentenced to time in “the big house” – aka jail.

The longtime Bravo TV stars and fan favorites ran afoul of the law this past year, when they were indicted and eventually plead guilty to numerous counts of tax and mortgage fraud. Their sentencing is set for early October, where they’ll find out how many months they’ll spend in the slammer, where they’ll undoubtedly experience a new kind of reality.

With lawyers bills piling up, Joe and Theresa are selling their Jersey estate for $3,999,000. They picked up the vacant lot in 2002 for $530,000, and proceeded to build a massive Chateau-style mega-mansion.

Located at 6 Indian Lane, the home sits on 3.5 acres and has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 10,044 square feet. There’s a lot of Theresa touches throughout, including an abundance of brown and bling. As seen many times on the TV show, the Giudice home has a grand two-story entrance with double Cinderella staircases.

The gourmet kitchen is the center of the home, and is often the scene of Giudice family get-togethers and moments with their four daughters. The kitchen features a butlers pantry and large working center island, perfect for entertaining.

The grand formal great room doesn’t get much screen time, but in the photos, you can see that it features a huge wood-burning fireplace, a soaring two-story ceiling with upstairs balcony overlooking the room.

The master bedroom is just what you’d expect from Theresa – over-sized and over-the-top! It features three custom designed walk-in closets, a massive gas fireplace, and master bath with onyx tile, steam shower, soaking tub.
