Bye-bye, Brentwood!
Reese Witherspoon has just sold the remainder of her massive Brentwood compound for $10,068,000.
After listing the entire Brentwood property and an adjacent side lot for sale for a whopping $14,000,000 in June 2014, Witherspoon peeled off the smaller lot in a side deal, getting $3,550,000 for the parcel (with a “tear-down” home) on September 11, 2014.
Now property records show that on October 14, 2014, Witherspoon sold the larger part of the A-list compound, which includes a 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom, 6,956-square-foot Spanish-style estate, and an adjacent lot tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a double lot in the desirable, guard-gated, and celebrity-friendly Brentwood Circle.
Witherspoon wanted out of the Brentwood compound now that she’s bought a brand-new Pacific Palisades home for $12,705,000 and a stately fixer-upper in her hometown of Nashville, TN.
