Zac Efron Sells His Former Party Pad In The Hollywood Hills For $2.775 Million

Zac Efron just closed the door on the last piece of his former life as a young Hollywood bad boy.

After two stints in rehab and a skirmish down at LA’s (in)famous skid row, the seemingly reformed actor has just sold his former Hollywood Hills party pad for $2,775,000.

Following a tumultuous time period in his life where he privately struggled with addiction, Efron sought out more Zen in his life, and he started at home. He moved out of this home after buying a ‘majestic Zen Contemporary’ property in Los Feliz in October 2013,  paying close to $4 million for the new home.

The fresh start it provided him? Priceless!

Efron listed the house that was the backdrop to a darker period in his life in March 2014, asking $2,850,000. Two months later, he got almost asking price for the home that was originally designed by Rodney Walker for the famed Case Study program. The home was eventually built using those plans after the program timeframe, and subsequently reinvented 50 years later.

Efron’s just-sold home may be steeped in history, but it’s also a modern wonder. With 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, the home embodies the ideal California lifestyle in a primo location.

Whole walls of glass open in every room for seamless indoor/outdoor flow and beautiful natural light. Situated up a gated drive on a flat lush lot, this home features heated concrete floors, a unique infinity pool with an ozone system and an open kitchen with a Wolf range and sub-zero appliances.

Offering coveted seclusion and style, the home is the perfect ‘celebrity hideaway’ for the unknown buyer.

Efron paid $2,350,000 for the home on December 3, 2008 and made a few bucks on the sale.
