5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBurleson High School has been great for our son the last three years. He will be a Senior this year and we are sad he will be leaving next year. The staff, administration, counselors and teachers have gone above and beyond! You will see many one star reviews because, let’s face it kids really don’t like going to school, but as a parent I’ve seen first hand what a good school can do for a kid! The pathways are phenomenal, my son’s counselor regularly checks to see how he’s doing, his teachers are transparent and available to their students and the families. No school is absolutely perfect, but BHS has exceeded our expectations!Parent Review9mo ago - Mound Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been pleasantly surprised at how well this school performs. Having moved from a newer area to this school zone, which is in an older area of town, I was afraid my kids wouldn't receive a great experience/education. (It would be nice to have a big, shiny newer school like Frazier or Hajek). BUT, Mound has definitely surpassed what I want from a school. Each of my children excel/excelled here.Parent Review6y ago - Hughes Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school does not offer good education. The students will do whatever they want. The student are very bad and never get pute in place, they act like little thugs and run around doing bad things. The food is moldy and cold.My dauhter was getting wierd comments from some of the teachers. She non stop tells me she wants to move schools.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 316 SW Brushy Mound Rd.

"Watch what your kid are doing and who they hang out with. What their friends are doing. Meet their family. Drugs are your biggest problem. You don’t think your kids will ever get involved you better think twice. Our youth need their families close. You need to be involved in their lives. Especially if they say they are bored. And don’t forget your parents. Get them involved too. If you only have one still alive and in good health they are probably lonely. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood awhile and neighbors keep to themselves they don't talk to each other. People fly down the main street so you have to be careful with dogs and kids because they won't watch for them. The surrounding area is nice. Would just be nice to have neighbors that talk."

"The neighborhood that I live in does not have many community based events. There are a couple of neighbors that I am friendly with, have helped with the odd errand, but have never done anything like dinner with any of them. Halloween is fun, though, as one neighbor DJs fun Halloween songs for people to sing and dance to, if they want to."
