"Lots of areas with natural grass, trees, etc. many friendly patrons love having pets in and out of their store fronts. "

"This is a very heavy dog neighborhood, which is nice, but very populated during walks. Unfriendly/ reactive dogs might have a difficult time going on a longer walk without running into fellow dog owners."

"Tons of dog-friendly parks and green spaces, but none that are specifically for dogs (that I know of). There also aren’t many pet supply stores in the area that aren’t specialty pet stores. High population density though, so there are plenty of potential dog walkers and dog friends to be made."

"I lived here for 10 years and it's been a wonder to see the neighborhood grow and develop while still maintaining it's creative, youthful, tightknit community feel. Super walkable/bikeable with a substantial selection of small grocery stores, divey bars, upscale speakeasies, and restaurants. More and more chains are coming through, but the vibe is still there. Also super convenient in terms of public transit to get you downtown and the highway is nearby for anywhere else you'd want to go."

"Logan square has great public transportation as there’s buses on all main roads. The blue line train station is right in the heart of Logan Square which you can use to transfer to any other train station in the city. "

I absolutely love the school and staff at Brentano but most importantly, my babies love it. They wake up excited to go to school everyday. My 5 year old does yoga and was taught to recycle. The school also offers before and after care through Right At School which makes life on working parents much easier.Parent Review10mo ago - Chase Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDarwin Principal and Assistant Principal and staff are poorly trained. The school is severely understaffed but have $15 grant in 2023. During that year the biggest purchase was over 20 fish tanks planted throughout the school, now in 2024 not one is in sight. There is so much bullying and racism at this school it’s painful, so not send your child here. If you do not follow the underlying rules placed by staff you are labeled a threat and will be treated differently.Parent Review2mo ago - Funston Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe relocated from Michigan to chicago and have found so much more joy at this school. The community of parents is incredibly supportive. The school has an abundance of after school programs to keep the kids engaged, even optional field trips on saturdays! Following Covid, my daughter was behind in reading but the teacher was able to bring her up to exceeding expectations. We are so grateful for the staff and community we have because of Goethe.Parent Review6mo ago - Monroe Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our third year as a Moos parent, now we have two children attending. We’re very happy with our kids education so far and as parents were getting more and more involved with the various parent organizations to continually raise funds and help support ongoing initiatives. We value their dual language program and are excited that our first grader is becoming bilingual! The principal is accessible and timely in her responses if I ever had questions/concerns. I definitely recommend Moos to other prospective parents.Parent Review6mo ago - Mozart Elementary School
