I am looking for a house in San Ramon and Danvile area as well. I understand your concern. I have two girls, 6 and 9. I want them attend a good school as well. From my point view, all the schools in San Ramon Valley Unified school district are great. You must saw the extreme high API score for Hidden Hills elementary and Coyote Creek Elementary. I admit they are both great school. But API score is not everything. It could not tell the full story about the school. I read some reviews. Some parents were not very happy of both schools. It really depends what you are looking for. For me, I will concentrate more on the house our family feel comfortable living in. I will be less concerned about the school. For me, 20 points differences in API really mean nothing. School is just part of the educational system. A good education should also includ home education. Do you agree? Also, I heard both Gale Ranch and Windemere schools are full. They are in lottery system. So, this is additonal risk that you may not be able to send your kids to the nearby school. Any way, wish you luck! - Fri Jul 4 2008, 07:06
