UPDATE: Adam Carolla’s Macho Mansion Is For Sale For $5.3 Million

The “Loveline” host is saying goodbye to his Lake Hollywood home.

UPDATE: After two short months on the market, Adam Carolla has sold this home for $4.8 million. Although he didn’t quite get his asking price, he still made a generous profit of more than $3 million.

Outspoken comedian and TV host Adam Carolla has listed his five-bed, six-bath Spanish Revival home for sale in Los Angeles for $5.3 million.

Built in 1928, the 5,757-square-foot villa in Lake Hollywood overlooks the stunning lake and valley. A grand two-story entry welcomes guests, leading into a formal dining room with cathedral ceilings, custom tiles, and French doors. A spacious living room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, while the master suite features a fireplace, two baths, a steam shower, and a romantic balcony.

Fans of Carolla’s former hit, The Man Show, won’t be surprised to learn that the home is ideal for a car buff, thanks to a 10-car garage with its very own elevator lift and a circular driveway with a dual gated entry. But they’ll really love this amenity: a private, custom-built pub with portholes that look into the swimming pool, where we’re guessing Carolla and his former co-host, Jimmy Kimmel, have spent many an afternoon.

Carolla, who now spends most of his time spouting off on politics, bought the home back in 2003 for $1.63 million. Now that’s a nice profit! But the real estate–dabbling comedian has been making a pretty penny on the property for a while — leasing it out at the low, low price of $13,500 per month.
