Anthony Kiedis Lists Sunset Strip Home for $4.3 Million

The singer’s Hollywood Hills home is one “red hot” listing.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman has listed his three-bed, four-bath SoCal villa, located right off the Sunset Strip, for $4.295 million. Built in 1940, the secluded European-style beauty features a dramatic living room with 14-foot ceilings and French doors, both overlooking the bright lights of Los Angeles. In the formal dining room, where no doubt Anthony and his darling 7-year-old son, Everly Bear, have sat down for a meal or two, high-arched ceilings lead to a dining terrace, swimming pool, and lush garden. Clearly, Anthony is a big fan of gardens and nature, because he recently appeared in a PSA on behalf of the Asian moon bear, an endangered black bear in Asia. Save those moon bears, Anthony.

The villa’s kitchen was just completely redone (word is, Architectural Digest staple Waldo Fernandez was in charge of the renovations), and a peaceful library with high ceilings is the perfect place for any rock star looking to get his literature on. It’s also an ideal spot for Anthony to hang his UCLA Gershwin Award, which he’ll receive in a proper ceremony on campus in May.

Anthony bought the house back in the summer of 2013 for $3.65 million, but he’s certainly got a few options as to where to stay once the Hollywood home is sold. He owns properties in Las Vegas, Malibu, CA (where he taught his 22-year-old girlfriend Wanessa Milhomem how to surf last month), Hawaii, and Michigan, where he lived as a child.
