Bazinga! Johnny Galecki Selling Longtime West Hollywood Home

The actor is hoping to make a big (real estate) bang with a Los Angeles bungalow that is anything but nerdy.

Johnny Galecki, known for his role as David the slacker on classic sitcom Roseanne, and later as Leonard the nerdy-but-lovable Ph.D. on The Big Bang Theory, is saying goodbye to his longtime Los Angeles, CA, bungalow. But this West Hollywood, CA, home for sale couldn’t be farther away from a nerd cave!

The two-bed, two-bath spread, which measures 1,707 square feet, is currently listed at $1.995 million. Tucked into a gated hideaway above the infamous Chateau Marmont hotel, the house is located on a coveted cul-de-sac. A long driveway leads guests to the cozy, one-story property, which features an open floor plan and stunning views of the bright lights of Los Angeles.

The home has hardwood floors throughout, while the master bedroom has a walk-in closet and large bathroom. The second bedroom, which could also function as a study, provides the comforts of home with a large fireplace and built-in bookshelves. (No word on whether there’s a hot neighbor named Penny across the way — or if Galecki asks houseguests to sign any sort of roommate agreement.)

Outside, a swimming pool and spa are the cherry on top of this quintessential Hollywood bungalow. The built-in barbecue and deck area are great for entertaining, while a garage, which could also be used as a studio area (or physics lab?), is behind a stylish glass door. Perhaps that’s where he practiced his Trump-on-Trump lip lock for his surprise appearance on a recent episode of Lip Sync Battle with Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco? (Galecki’s ex bought Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s former marital pad, while co-star Jim Parsons snagged Robert Pattinson’s Los Feliz, CA, love nest in 2014.)

Here’s a fun fact: Galecki bought the house from Dr. McDreamy himself (that’s Patrick Dempsey, for all you non-Grey’s Anatomy watchers) back in 2001 for $982,500. But with the news that Galecki and the rest of the cast now make $1 million per Big Bang Theory episode, the actor is clearly upgrading: He just bought actor Jason Statham’s Hollywood Hills, CA, home for $9 million. (Statham, BTW, bought that home from Ben Stiller, because all celebrities are best friends when it comes to real estate!)
