Good Charlotte star Benji Madden has listed his home in Los Angeles for sale for $1.495 million, just a few weeks after his new wife, Cameron Diaz, listed her Manhattan bachelorette pad for $4.25 million. New life together, new real estate?
The three-bed, three-bath Nichols Canyon home is a cozy bungalow in what the listing describes as a “unique forest setting.” Guests cruise through a gated drive and over a stream to reach the one-story, contemporary ranch-style home, which was built in 1951. So this home, which measures 2,183 square feet, is legitimately “over the river and through the woods”!
Inside, an open floor plan features hardwood floors and a fireplace, while the new kitchen has wraparound French windows and doors overlooking a lush natural setting. A large family/media room is where we picture Cameron and Benji snuggling up with Benji’s brother, Joel Madden, and his wife, Nicole Richie, for a nice game of Parcheesi next to the stone fireplace.
A spacious brick terrace overlooks the natural wonder of the home, which has a master bedroom that features a stunning bathroom and spacious walk-in closet. It’s the perfect cozy space for any new couple, and though Benji just bought the home back in 2013 for $1.15 million, he and his new wife must be hanging out at Cameron’s Beverly Hills home. Conveniently, Joel and Nicole bought a home in the same neighborhood in the 90210 back in May. Being neighbors must make it easier for the brothers to work on that new music.
Since Cameron’s New York home is currently on the market, we’re guessing that when the couple are on the East Coast, they’re crashing at Cameron’s new luxurious lair in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. According to The Wall Street Journal, she recently dropped $9.52 million on a three-bedroom home in Walker Tower.
