Eminem Lists His Michigan Home for $2M

It looks like the "Lose Yourself" rapper is losing his Rochester Hills mansion, too.

The Real Slim Shady’s wallet is going to look a little thin after selling this house. Rapper Eminem just listed his six-bed, nine-and-a-half-bath house in his home state of Michigan for just under $2 million. That wouldn’t strike us as odd except… he bought it 14 years ago for $4.75 million- over twice as much!

Spanning a total of 17,000 square feet, the sprawling contemporary-style mansion is located on almost six acres of rolling grounds in the chi-chi suburb of Rochester Hills, MI. Built in 1986, every bedroom in the main house is a suite, providing plenty of space for a busy, growing family. No expense was spared while building this home; it’s ideal for entertaining, thanks to amenities like tennis courts, a waterfall pool with a spa, entertainment cabana, and a guest house with its own wild game room. We never knew Eminem fancied the outdoors so much! There’s also a bucolic private pond set amidst leafy trees for a true taste of Midwestern beauty.

One of the most unique features of the home is its “guard house,” an extra spot for security. Seeing as Em’s had plenty of celebrity feuds (Mariah Carey, Mark Wahlberg, and Iggy Azalea are just a few… and let’s not forget Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Will Smith!) maybe that was a good thing for him to have. Who knows what could happen if an angry Mariah Carey rolls up?
