When you’re the big sister of teen queen Hilary Duff, one would maybe expect you to be a little jealous of your younger sibling’s success. But not so in the Duff house! Hilary’s older sis, Haylie Duff, the actress-turned-Cooking-Channel-host, just dropped $2.695 million on a five-bed, six-bath home for sale in Studio City, CA. And in true celeb style, she bought it from another Hollywood starlet, Ashley Tisdale, who barely had time to live there herself: She just bought it in June 2015 for $2.5 million!

In addition to her new purchase, Haylie has a house listed for sale, and she didn’t live in it very long either: She bought it back in February 2015 for $1.3 million. Also located in Studio City, the stunning three-bed, three-bath contemporary-style home was built in 1989. Besides a marble- and quartz-filled chef’s kitchen (Haylie clearly knows what she likes!), the home has a spacious family room that opens out to a perfectly planned entertainer’s backyard, with a swimming pool and spa, custom Lynx barbecue island, and plenty of room for entertaining guests. With wide-plank hardwood and blue limestone flooring, the home also has an expansive master suite with a huge built-out walk-in closet, a beautiful master bath, and a stunning private balcony.
Although Haylie has had some bumps on the real estate road in the past (she previously sold her Toluca Lake, CA, home at a loss), things are certainly looking up for her future portfolio. Point being: Times aren’t exactly tough for this Duff!
