When he’s not stepping out with the hottest young thing in Hollywood, Gyllenhaal has holed up in this gated compound on almost two acres of land since 2005, when he paid $2,500,000 for the home. Perfect for staying out of the limelight, the home is located down a private drive and has sensational panoramic views. Insiders even say the views from Gyllenhaal’s backyard are some of the best in L.A. The lushly landscaped, estate-sized lot has trails and a large, sprawling, grassy yard.
