James Corden Drops $10M On Brentwood Mansion

Let's hope the new neighbors are ready for a round of Carpool Karaoke.

The Late, Late Show host James Corden officially owns a nice, nice new mansion. The British comedian and TV host, who is known for tooling around town with celebs like Britney SpearsAdele, and Katy Perry for his “Carpool Karaoke” segments, just dropped $9.77 million on a five-bed, eight-bath home in the luxe Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood

The 8609-square-foot home is a traditional-style estate built in 1997. With hardwood and stone floors, beamed ceilings, and exquisite crown moldings, the home looks plucked straight out of New England. Located on a sprawling 20,000-square-foot lot in the ritzy Brentwood Park neighborhood, where folks like Lauren Conrad and Alyson Hannigan have been known to lay their heads. Inside private gates, guests are welcomed to the home by lush gardens. Step inside the double-height entry into the wood-paneled library, then step down into the comfortable living room with a cozy fireplace. A chef’s kitchen includes a breakfast area that’s perfect for any family, and continues into the formal dining room and family room. An exceptional master suite features a spacious sitting area, as well as dual baths and walk-in closets. There’s also a second family room upstairs, as well as a basement media room and gym that opens out to the impeccable gardens.

Back on the main level, Beautiful French doors open out to the perfectly-landscaped yard, where a trellis-covered patio and dining pergola are ideal for entertaining. The rolling lawn also leads to a sparkling swimming pool and spa, as well as a fire pit and built-in barbecue.

In typical Hollywood style, Corden snagged the stunning estate from another bigwig: TV tycoon Steve Levitan, creator Modern Family starring Sofia Vergara and Eric Stonestreet. Levitan, by the way, bought the home back in 1996 for just $1.55 million. As if he didn’t already make enough money off all those reruns…
