Crooner Jason Derulo has just bought a swank castle-style bachelor pad for $3 million.
The 25-year-old “Talk Dirty” singer, who just ended a three-year relationship with American Idol alum Jordin Sparks, is striking out on his own, splashing out millions for a massive gated and private castle compound on almost an acre in prime Tarzana, CA.
The massive property consists of a 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom main house and an attached 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom guest unit, plus 2 garages that can house up to 8 cars.
That’s something to sing about!
Not stopping there, the compound includes a separate, approximately 3,600-square-foot guest house with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a 3-car garage.
Looking like it just stepped out of a fairy tale, Jason’s new home has a castle-style, Tudor-inspired exterior, complete with turrets and stained-glass windows. While it may seem like a dream, it’s not ready for Jason to move right in. Most of the interiors appear dated, with decades-old features that need updating before Derulo can become king of the castle.
Although the contractors have their work cut out for them, some of the do-not-replace features of the home include a gym with a sauna and tanning room, a grand staircase, skylights, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the home really dazzles, with a 75-foot pool with a bridge that leads to a pergola, complete with built-in bar, spa, and entertaining area.
Perfect for major sports fan Jason, the home also has a lighted sports court.
Lynne Weiss of Coldwell Banker represented Derulo in the purchase and Desiree Zuckerman of Rodeo Realty sold the castle.
