Jason Segel Is Selling The Los Feliz Home He Bought Last Year

The “How I Met Your Mother” star is saying goodbye to this secluded oasis in the Hollywood Hills.

Jason Segel is moving on. The actor has listed his Los Feliz, CA, home for sale for $1.599 million. The four-bed, three-bath hideaway is a private oasis that’s perfect for anyone seeking to step away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, CA. Jason bought this gem back in February of 2015 for $1.4 million, and it doesn’t look like he lived there for all that long: You may remember that just one year later, in February 2016, Jason snapped up a different four-bed, three-and-a-half-bath spread in Los Feliz … from none other than artist Shepard Fairey, known for his iconic Obama “Hope” poster.

This 1,926-square-foot property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a desirable section of Los Feliz. With lush gardens and a true artistic sensibility, the space is ideal for an actor who’s looking to avoid the prying eyes of the paparazzi … or really for anyone who enjoys a bit of privacy! With expansive balconies, decks, and patios, the home melds together indoor/outdoor living and is well-suited to the frequent entertainer.

The gorgeous living room has vaulted, beamed ceilings and a fireplace with a steel mantel and reclaimed barn-wood shelving. It opens out to a separate dining room and balcony, perfect for casual breakfasts overlooking the trees and natural setting that’s hard to find in Los Angeles. The bright kitchen with stainless steel appliances has direct access from the garage studio space. The four spacious bedrooms are quiet spots for relaxation, including the huge master suite with a walk-in California Closet. There’s also an outdoor kitchen and bar plus a wine cellar.

In addition to the Los Feliz home he bought last year, Jason has a longtime lair in West Hollywood, CA, which he snagged in 2007 for $2.24 million, and another West Hollywood home he bought in 2010 for $1.849 million. With a career that’s expanding rapidly (Jason earned critical acclaim for his role as novelist David Foster Wallace in The End of the Tour) and a love life that’s equally thriving (he’s been dating Alexis Minter for over a year now), it seems like life is pretty good for this funny guy.
