Jim Parsons Sells Starter Home After Upgrading To Robert Pattinson's Digs

Jim Parsons has just parted ways with his Los Feliz starter home, mere months after snapping up Robert Pattinson’s glittering estate for $6,375,000.

Property records show that Parsons went out with a whimper, instead of ‘Bang,’ on his smaller, more modest house, selling the spread on June 20,2014 for $1,575,000. He had high hopes for more dough when he listed the place for $1,850,000 in January 2014. While he didn’t get full asking, he did rake in more than the $1,300,000 he paid for the place in April 2009.

Located just a few blocks away from his new, bigger home in the same Los Feliz neighborhoodParson’s just-sold starter home is a beautifully remodeled and immaculately decorated hillside home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 half baths and 2,827 square feet of living space spread out over two levels.

The open floor plan features fireplaces in the living and dining rooms,  and a spacious cook’s kitchen.

The lower-level features a den/office and a master suite with sitting room, large en-suite bathroom with spa tub and separate shower, and a huge walk-in closet.

Outside, a charming private entry patio contains an outdoor fireplace.

We suspect that Parsons and his fiance Todd Spiewak aren’t sweating the lower-than-hoped-for sale price as they nest nearby in their new, upgraded, A-list digs. Not ones to keep it all in one Los Feliz neighborhood, the engaged duo also spent $1.822 million for a NYC apartment near Gramercy Park in August 2013.
