Katie Holmes has left her life in New York City and moved back to California.
According to a report by TMZ and property records, Katie dropped $3,795,000 on a 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath, 6,200 square foot mansion in the celebrity-infested LA suburb of Calabasas.
TMZ says that Katie’s high-tailing it back to California to be nearer to Hollywood, so she can get her career back on track. Ex-husband Tom Cruise must be thrilled – he’s got a massive estate in Beverly Hills, and this moves brings daughter Suri closer.
Katie’s next phase in live will start inside a “Grand European Manor with contemporary flair,” situated on an expansive lot.
Located atop a cul-de-sac and bordering pristine conservancy land, Holmes’ new home is an expansive main residence with a separate guest casita. Extensively customized with the finest finishes, the home’s features include a gourmet center island kitchen with professional appliances, dark distressed wood floors, and use of rare stones and marble accents.
