Mark Wahlberg Lists Beverly Hills Home With Boxing Gym

Mark Wahlberg has just listed the Beverly Hills property he’s called home for a decade for $13,995,000. He purchased the home in 2001 for almost $4,950,000 via a trust, which is par for the course in the world of celeb real estate. Sometime between then and now, the man formerly known as Marky Mark shacked up with stunning model Rhea Durham, and proceeded to start a sizable family that now includes four beautiful children. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Wahlberg clan is currently awaiting the completion of a 33,000 square-foot estate in nearby Beverly Park, a gated enclave of Beverly Hills.

Since they’re moving on up to a bigger home, it’s time to sell the no-longer-needed estate. The for-sale home is a 1.7-acre property on a gated street and has a Mediterranean-style main house with five bedrooms and a screening room, plus a 3,500 square foot, two-bedroom guest house. The property also features a detached, 2,500-square-foot gym with a boxing ring (where he trained for the movie “The Fighter”),  a sports court, putting green and pool with a waterfall and grotto.
