Matt Damon Price Chops Waterfront Miami Mansion By $1 Million

Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon has just price chopped his waterfront Miami mansion by $1 million dollars.

Originally listed for $20 million, Damon’s Miami home sat on the market for nearly 8 months before he cut a solid mil from the asking price in hopes that the new, improved $18,999,0000 price tag will entice a buyer.

The historic house, dubbed “Maravilla,” was built in 1935 and sits on a rare double lot with an incredible 170 feet of bay frontage and unobstructed bay views.

Inside, 7 bedrooms and 9.5 bathrooms sprawl out over 12,705 square feet of living space. Highlights include a theater room, wine cellar, custom office, oversized living room, a gourmet kitchen and a spa-like bath and private terrace overlooking the water.

The pool house has a full outdoor summer kitchen for entertaining and the property is rounded out by a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom guesthouse adjacent to the sparkling pool.

Damon, his wife Lucinda and their children currently live on the West Coast in a massive $15 Million Pacific Palisades mansion.

The Jills from Coldwell Banker hold the listing.
