Bill And Hillary Clinton Expand Their New York Real Estate Portfolio

The possibility of moving into the White House didn’t stop the Clintons from purchasing this adorable Westchester home.

While Bill and Hillary Clinton are hoping to move back into the White House after Election Day, the political pros have decided to make a purchase in the meantime. The former POTUS and the hopeful future POTUS just dropped $1.16 million on the property next door to their current home in Chappaqua, NY: a 3,631-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom ranch-style home on a 1.5-acre lot.

Located next to the home they’ve owned since 1999, the Clintons’ new home sits just outside the center of town on a unique cul-de-sac and is the perfect spot for daughter Chelsea and her husband, Marc, to visit with the Clintons’ grandchildren, Charlotte and Aidan, when they’re not in their hometown of New York, NY. With an open floor plan, pecan flooring, and a modern chef’s kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, the cozy quarters are the perfect spot for visiting family, or even an overflow of Secret Service members. The kitchen flows to an open eating area with a cozy fireplace that leads into a family room with built-in cabinetry. In the master suite, a newly redone bathroom is complemented by two spacious walk-in closets, which would fit plenty of Hillary’s vivacious pantsuit collection!

Outside, rolling lawns and mature trees are nestled next to stone walls and an in-ground pool, perfect for family birthday parties and barbecues. Because can’t you just imagine Bill flipping veggie burgers in a chef’s hat and apron? Either way, this new property is much more modest than the Clintons’ 2011 rental in the luxe town of East Hampton, NY. When the Clintons rented, the 12,000-square-foot estate was also on the market for $25 million. That rivals the 2011 price tag of President Barack Obama’s frequently visited Martha’s Vineyard, MA, vacation rental: $23.7 million! Oh, to be president….
