Ricky Martin Drops Millions On A Beverly Hills Mansion

The Latin legend is shakin’ his bonbon back to one of LA’s fanciest neighborhoods.

When you’ve been “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” sometimes all you need is a place to call home. And for Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin, that new home is a $13.5 million Mid-Century beauty with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms in Beverly Hills, CA. But it’s not the first time Ricky has shown off his moves in the ritzy neighborhood: He actually lived there until 2006, when he sold his previous property for $15 million. But with wedding bells in the near future, we’re guessing Ricky and fiance Jwan Yosef were looking for a new home for sale in Beverly Hills, CA, to call their own.

Ricky’s new expansive estate, which is just up the street from the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel, measures a whopping 11,300 square feet. Fully redesigned in 2016, the home provides a serene oasis that combines the original architecture, the landscape, and luxurious amenities of modern life. Inside, 14-foot ceilings pair with custom wood sliding doors, and a chef’s kitchen offers marble and Caesarstone countertops and Sub-Zero appliances. However, the crowning jewel of the exquisite property is the master suite, which has a large, three-sided, floating fireplace wall. Ricky has got to stay warm on those chilly Los Angeles, CA, nights when the temp drops to around 50! The master suite also has sleek dual bathrooms that open out to a Zen courtyard, as well as a huge soaking tub with a ceiling waterfall feature. If we lived here, we’d namastay in bed all day long.

Located on a little under an acre of property, the home offers several outdoor seating areas scattered throughout the 33,000-square-foot lot. From the crystal-clear 40-foot infinity swimming pool and spa to the picturesque backyard with mature, lush trees, the estate is a private getaway in the middle of the city. The tiered movie theater with an adjacent bar/lounge and an 800-bottle air-conditioned wine cellar certainly don’t hurt either. We’d be shakin’ our bonbon over there if we could! With parking for nine cars and a 2,000-square-foot secluded wellness center, Ricky doesn’t need to leave home for much.

Ricky also owned a ritzy spread on New York, NY’s Upper East Side, but he just listed it at $8.4 million. He bought the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom space back in 2012 for $5.9 million. But if he’s eager to stay on the West Coast, he’s certainly got plenty of celebrity neighbors to keep him company: Sandra Bullock bought a $16 million manse down the street back in 2011. Hey, when Ricky sang “Nobody Wants to Be Lonely,” he must have meant it!
