Sandra Bullock Rents Out Her Sunset Strip Home (Again)

For just $15,000 a month, you can live in the Oscar winner’s Hollywood home.

Pop quiz, hotshot: One of Hollywood’s biggest stars has put her Sunset Boulevard home up for rent. What do you do? Drop the $15,000, of course! That’s the bargain price that will snag you one month in the three-bed, three-bath home belonging to Speed star Sandra Bullock. And seeing as the home was last up for rent in 2015 at $18,500 per month, it looks like a pretty sweet deal. Better step on that gas pedal! (Just don’t go below 50, obviously.)

The Oscar-winning actress’s 3,153-square-foot home, just off Sunset Boulevard and minutes from its famous Strip, is the picture of California cool, with a stucco exterior complementing the contemporary design. Built in 1942, the one-story home is fully furnished and includes the necessary amenities, like a large eat-in cook’s kitchen, private stone-decked heated pool, spa, and lanai overlooking the bright lights of Los Angeles, CA.

An office looks over the pool and features built-in desks and storage, allowing you to get some work done during the day, while the luxurious master bedroom with a spacious soaking tub and separate steam shower will ensure you rest comfortably at night. One of the three bedrooms has a cool sleeping loft, which is great for warm summer nights with the windows open.

Sandra bought the Hollywood Hills home back in 2001 for $1.485 million, but of course, it’s not her only property: She bought a $16 million Beverly Hills, CA, estate in 2011, where her neighbor is none other than Latin heartthrob Ricky Martin. But recent years have brought some major changes to Sandra’s “La Vida Loca.” She’s since adopted two children: 6-year-old Louis and 4-year-old Laila, whom Bullock has deemed “the loudest children on the planet.” And with Ocean’s Eight, the all-female heist flick co-starring Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, and Mindy Kaling, scheduled to hit theaters next year, we’re guessing Sandra’s star will continue to shine brightly.
