Shay Mitchell Sells West Hollywood Home for $2 Million

The “Pretty Little Liars” star is hitting the road.

Shay Mitchell, known for her role as the sporty Emily Fields on the hit ABC Family show that your tween niece most definitely watches, has sold her Mediterranean-style home in West Hollywood for nearly $2 million. We’re guessing that’s because the 28-year-old Filipino-Canadian beauty is packing her bags to star in a digital travel show titled Shaycation.

While Shay may be continuing her amazing travels to places like Morocco and Bali, her three-bed, three-bath Los Angeles lair, which was built in 1931, will make the perfect starter home for any rising starlet. Tucked behind a leafy gate, the 2,041-square-foot home features high ceilings and impeccable taste. A Beverly Hills Hotel–themed kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances with a retro edge, while the understated dining room is the ideal space for a private dinner party. Shay had one of the three bedrooms converted into a huge dressing area, complete with rows of shoe racks and plenty of storage. She also converted the garage into a combination gym/office. Hey, the girl’s got priorities.

The spacious backyard was perfect for inviting her fellow Pretty Little Liars over: It features an elegant swimming pool and covered dining area, as well as lush gardening and plenty of space to spread out in the sun. We doubt anyone would’ve complained about having a member of People’s 2015 Most Beautiful List as a neighbor.

The location is key for this WeHo spread, seeing as it is just a short walk from some of the area’s coolest restaurants on 3rd Street, as well as the Grove. Fellow PLL star Ashley Benson also owns a home in West Hollywood, and their co-star Tyler Blackburn is just about a half-hour’s drive away in Los Feliz. Shay purchased the home in 2012 for $1.35 million and made a nice profit when it sold for $1.95 million earlier this week.
