Travis Barker Is Selling His Cheviot Hills Home For $4.75 Million

The Blink-182 drummer has found his groove in the real estate market.

When Blink-182 sang “Well I Guess This is Growing Up,” they probably weren’t referring to buying and selling real estate. But for the band’s drummer, Travis Barker, making real estate deals is basically second nature, and he’s got another one on the horizon. Travis just listed his four-bed, four-bath home in the ritzy Los Angeles, CA, neighborhood of Cheviot Hills for $4.75 million. Travis hasn’t owned the property very long; he bought it back in 2014 for $4 million.

A bold, modern estate, the 4,173-square-foot home was built in 2014, and it capitalizes on the quintessential California lifestyle. Light streams into the home’s soaring, loftlike living room through 10-foot windows. To embrace the indoor/outdoor living aesthetic, a kitchen island extends to the outdoors and a retractable Fleetwood wall of glass allows for an easy transition from open air to closed. The home’s second floor cantilevers over the patio, providing a shady, sheltered outdoor space with a television and fireplace. The home office includes custom cabinetry and a separate entrance, while the stylish master suite is a peaceful oasis. Complete with three walk-in closets, a stunning ceramic-and-walnut master bath, and a stylish built-in vanity, it’s the perfect spot to get ready for a night out on the town … if you can force yourself to leave.

Travis knows a thing or two about real estate. He owns property in several California towns, including Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, Lake Elsinore, Bel Air, and Kardashian-favorite Calabasas. In typical Hollywood style, he once lived in a Bel Air home that has a long celebrity lineage: He sold his eight-bed, 11-bath mansion to Canadian rock-pop princess Avril Lavigne back in 2007 for $9.5 million. Avril, whose marriage to Deryck Whibley ended in 2009, sold the property to basketball veteran Chris Paul in 2012.
