It’s all because Tyler Perry, the actor/director known for playing everyone’s favorite hostile elderly lady, snagged a new mega-mansion for himself. That’s right; Tyler Perry Presents… his new seven-bed, 11-bath estate in Beverly Hills! Never on the market before, the mansion spans a total of 17,245 square feet. With properties like these, it’s not hard to understand why fellow heavy hitters like DJ Khaled, Christina Aguilera, and Joaquin Phoenix have owned homes in the area.
Located on the highly-coveted Beverly Hills, CA stretch of Mulholland Drive, the sprawling Modern home, which was built in 1992, is the picture of Hollywood glamour and privilege. Looking down from its hilltop location, the home is ideal for a major Tinseltown power player like Perry, thanks to extreme level of privacy and endless lavish amenities. A long private driveway leads up to the home’s entrance, with exquisite views of the canyons and city lights. A motor court has space for 30(!) cars, in case Perry feels like inviting the rest of Madea’s family over.
