Looking for a home can be challenging, but Trulia is launching a new tool that should make the journey a little bit easier. On April 24, Trulia is extending many of the features from the Trulia app for iPhone to the new Apple Watch.
You will be able to search for newly listed homes wherever you are, receive timely notifications, and view property photos and pertinent information, all from your Apple Watch.
By making the information we provide on your phone available on the watch, we’re ensuring that you’ll be the first to know about new homes and apartments as soon as they come on the market. With a quick glance at your Apple Watch, you will be able to get the information you need without pulling out your phone.
How it works
Simply pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone. As long as you already have the Trulia app on your iPhone, it will be available on your Apple Watch — no downloading necessary.
When you open Trulia for Apple Watch, it will display homes near your current location that have recently been listed. You will see either homes for sale or for rent, based on your last search in the Trulia app. Touch the screen or use the digital crown to scroll through the listings.
Click on any of the homes to view additional information, including full screen photos, home stats (such as the number of bedrooms), and important local information, like schools and crime rates.
Remember that nearby home alerts — which you control in the Trulia app on the iPhone — are also sent to your Apple Watch. Make sure the alerts are turned on to receive notifications about new homes on the market, wherever you are.
