Iron Ridge Estates

Both of my children went to this school, and both had good experiences. The teachers were attentive and I always felt welcome to come and visit. I am not sure how much is done in regards to bullying, but I am not sure if this is much of an issue in the younger age groups from what I can tell.

Both of my children attended Creekside. We did not really have any negative experiences, other than occasional discrepancies on the playground, and I'm not sure how well those were handled by the staff. Other than that, my only other issue would be how well they prepare children for the transition to middle school. A "no homework" policy may not be the best for them, although I understand allowing them to be kids and enjoy their last year of elementary school. Overall we had good experiences and my children enjoyed their time at this school.

I have one child that has attended here so far, and one that will be coming into this school next year. My son had a good experience in middle school, and I really don't have anything negative to share. I am not sure on how well they work with those with learning differences or on the subject of bullying, but that is simply because we didn't deal with either of those personally.

There is a dark cloud over the school. Boys/Girls Basketball, Volleyball, Football... are all broken programs for years and years with no willingness to fix. Wish we had gone to Lead-Deadwood HS or Belle Fourche HS.Bitter aftertaste after graduation.

This school irreparably damaged my child and I would strongly advise the public against sending their precious children here. Additionally, they promote extremism and anti-traditional pedagogical modalities.
