I was surprised to see it have such a low rating, but then I realized how many non English speaking children are in this school which is causing all the test scores to be lower than average. Florida needs to offer some specialized schools or classes for this population. He keeps us as parents informed of everything that’s going on in the School. He supports the students as individuals.. The attentiveness that I’ve seen him give his staff and students is admirable. I honestly wish he could be both my child Junior high and High school Principal. I will definitely miss Western Pines and all the staff there. I called numerous times to speak with the 9th grade assistant principal, left a message and never got a return call back. If you dial the extension number to a specific staff member, they won't pick up, as if they're screening calls or answering only when they feel like it. Emails won't get responded to as well. People in foreign countries are able to reach me about my car's extended warranty but this school can't even return a call.Parent Review4mo ago
