My school is amazing. I get to learn I am smart, and I see my friends

I graduated from East High School back in 2007. I am now a graduate from the Rochester Institute of Technology and i owe it all to East High School's Academy of Information Technology. The AOIT at East High School helped prepare me for college by providing me with a great introduction to technology (computer programming, computer hardware and software, animation, game development, and much more). I love the AOIT program at East. The teachers are amazing and very dedicated to their students. Even to this day, I keep in contact with my AOIT teachers.

Bunch of primates and their ape parents. No learning happens and all grades are inflated 200 percent.

I'm actually a old student I just got out of this school it's really a good school the teachers are nice buttt likee if u have a bad time in 5 school it's probably bc of the students and not the teachers yes some teachers can be a annoying some times but like the school is really good the art teacher really nice the library teacher really nice mrs Garcia really nice and cool in 6grade we had a dance it was Soo fun the food was pretty good the dance floor was nice the music it was I thought the music was going to be blame but it was really fun and I had a good time this school it's really good I never really got in trouble yeah I was in some drama but that doesn't really matter I can say I had one teacher that only reason cared about who side she heard first and I hated that I ain't going to say whoo but yeah 5 school is a really good school the lunch is ok the only time the school lunch is good is when they have chicken or pizza ok byee

I’ve been in this school since kindergarten and it has never been like this kids are vaping their are so many fights drama and there’s a lot of bullying and it is not ok the teachers don’t do anything abt it and I’ve been bullied in this school and the and the principal doesn’t care about ur kids they don’t do anything to prevent bullying from happening and a lot of kids in this school are failing

This schools needs to be shut down and most should be fired including the ones who do nothing but just go with it because, its the easiest thing to so, and because, they are afraid they will loose their jobs if they stand up and out for what is right. Children are the most vulnerable, you are a monster for treating babies like this!! No one teaches expects a 4 year old to automatically know math and how to read also to count backwards using the Montessori methods but never taught it.Not at all!! This school will ruin children and their self-esteem and self-pride!! Causing them not to learn. They try to turn your child into a horrible statistic.Principle seems nice until you need hear. She only goes by what the Teacher says. Is ineffective and dishonest. Does not respect privacy will stop a parent to have a talk about a child so the Teacher who complained can see it in front of several people without scheduling a private meeting.They do nothing the staff are the bullies. They tell at the children like they work in a prison camp.

The school is full of incompetent people. You tell them your child is having a hard time and they do nothing but beat around the bush and make excuses.The teachers give very strict rules about homework and classwork, no empathy, grades are updated weeks after the assignments are turned in which in turn thwarts parental supervision. Concerts are mandatory and they have 0 concern for students who do not have a way to the concert through no fault of their own constantly giving 0's for missed concerts due to parents having to work, child can't use the bus line etc. Nor do they take into account students with mental health disorders. In a nutshell the way this school has been they don't care about the students, the difficulties they face or anything nor do they supervise competently they'll lose your child and have no idea where the child is in the same building. I regret suggesting my child apply for this school.

My son went and so did several of his friends the first couple of years of its existence and he got such a great education and all of those kids he was friends with are now succesfull grown ups. It great to know Ms. Rose has done such an outstanding job she should get educator of the decade. It is today and always has been an amazing school.

My daughter attends and this is her second year here, she loves it and I do too. She will have the opportunity to have college credits from attending an accredited state college during her high school years. They are picky and wouldn't let her brother attend.

My 3 oldest daughters went to different schools in the city but dropped out as soon as they turned 16. My 4th daughter went to East and graduated! The staff at the school encouraged and supported her above and beyond my expectations.
