Lauren Conrad Buys $4.4 Million Pacific Palisades Spread

The former MTV reality star moves on from The Hills to the mountains of Pacific Palisades.

Lauren Conrad, the former MTV reality star who now maintains an arts-and-crafts-heavy website, recently purchased a 5,871-square-foot Mediterranean-style oasis in beautiful Pacific Palisades. Tucked away from the street (helpful to protect from those paparazzi … and former friends like Audrina Patridge) the home it set on just over an acre of land.

The living and dining rooms glow with natural light and lead into a chef’s kitchen and breakfast area, and from there into the family room. The five bedroom suites feature vaulted ceilings, wide-plank wood floors, archways, and French doors. Sounds like a nice, quaint little home for the newlywed, who just celebrated her first year of marriage to actor William Tell.

The home features a private yard and is nestled into the mountains, while two patio areas offer extensive entertaining options, including a built in barbecue, a large swimming pool with a spa and waterfall, and even a treehouse waterslide.

Conrad seems to be a pro when it comes to real estate. Last year, she nabbed a $3.7 million gem of a home in the exclusive Brentwood neighborhood. Back in 2001, she sold the crib where she lived during the latter seasons of The Hills.
