"My commute is great. 4 miles to work and I can usually get there in about 20 minutes. I wish the driving was a little better around here so I could ride my bike."
  • Alezaihvia Melendez
"It’s horrible parking and everyone is a little weird but, they know how to be kind sometimes and will say hi "
  • Alezaihvia Melendez
"Dog owners would love that it’s a lot of other dog owners in this neighborhood but, they clearly don’t like cleaning after them."
  • Trulia User
"It’s close to freeways, inexpensive and fairly nice. Most people are very nice and just living day to day life. "
  • Trulia User
"The Parks are great. The Schools have low ratings and they have good teachers just need more financial support. Dog friendly, affordable and people are nice."
  • Trulia User
"Some people don’t leash their dogs and that makes me uncomfortable but other than that it’s a dog friendly neighborhood "
  • Lu A. D.
"I lived in this neighborhood and still own a home here. area is safe. Nice families live here. Schools are close."
  • Julia H.
"My commute is great. I live close to work, which is awesome. I’m close to the freeways. Not too much traffic "
  • Unspecified
"It’s sad to see how many dogs just run loose. We walk our dogs on leash and get the strangest stares from people. Like it’s abnormal to walk your dog on a leash."
  • Jeanette G.
"I live on this street and while these apartments are beautiful and brand new, they are over priced considering the area. Street parking is always a problem, the neighborhood is not very nice, and cars fly down the streets making it dangerous when pulling in/out of parking lots. Disappointed at how expensive these apartments are. "
  • Priscila C.
"Hawthorne is a good neighborhood. Pros: close to shopping, store at any kind, beach, restaurants. Cons: schools are not so good. "
  • Janettelblair
"I have to take the 110 to the 405 or Rosecrans to the 405 to go north. It’s an hour and a half usually."

"is not a safe place to live, plus there is always police or gangsters around. not a safe place to raise children "

  • Michelle G.
"There is never any parking and sometimes cars are damaged or vandalized. I hate walking by myself especially at night. "
  • Julia H.
"There’s a very modern, but quaint park right on my street. With outdoor work out equipment, and during the summer a water fall is active for kids to play in. I just love it!"
  • Brentongivensteph 4. c.
"I have lived here for quite some time now and am a regular to the area. We are the city of good neighbors and that does ring true sometimes."
  • Brentongivensteph 4. c.
"It is the home of Elon Musk's company, SpaceX and Warren Buffet's company Davita Dialysis. I went to school with its mayor, mayor Alex Vargas, and it's a small, close knit community with activities and events year round for its citizens."
  • Missotasker
"Hood rats every where. Loud music Constantly playing all day till three in the morning. People being loud. Strange looking people walking in the street."
