"We have a wonderful community and resources and we love how everyone in Candlewick Lake has made living in Poplar Grove well worth it! We have some of the best amenities around here and you’ll never be bored with all the fun things to do here, Swimming pools, basketball courts, tennis and pickleball, golfing and the beach, recreation center , trails, dog park, and our golf course has savanna oaks club with food and a bar for those who want to come out and enjoy the game on tv with other neighbors in their own subdivision. 4th of July is a show spectacular day and we have an awesome fireworks show and live bands and food trucks it’s a great day filled with vendors and so much fun to cook out and connect and enjoy the show get your boats out o. The water to watch the show on the lake it’s really the best place to be! There’s also a lot of great music and things to do close to everything you can possibly imagine and great museums and places to visit and explore the areas best life! "

"I've grown up in the community. like most small towns it has its pros and cons. The people are friendly, it's safe, and the schools are great. But be prepared to drive everywhere, the roads are horrible in the winter and everything in town is over priced for "convenience" I find myself driving to near by towns pretty much daily. "
  • Jermainemeadors
