What Locals Say about Cumberland

  • Chris T. L.
"There is a Park with trail to walk on connected to my neighborhood. There is a playground for kids and basketball court and tennis court to play on. "
  • Jennifer C.
"People walk their dogs often and there is a trail for dog walking, running, walking, biking. Nice area. "
  • Kelsey H.
"Not a good area to live but friendly kids and the apartment complex doesn’t fix anything but close to grocery, shopping and food. "
  • Ryan M. S.
"We sit right on the cusp of Cumberland, so we see city sites and also small community ones. It's very quiet."
  • renatewolfe
"My family and I love this area. If you want your children in a rural school district, but aren't quite ready to give up the amenities of city life, this is it! It is quiet, yet child friendly. We are in the excellent Mt. Vernon School district, yet close to shopping in Castleton, Greenfield and the east side of Indianapolis, with easy access to 465 for shopping in downtown Indianapolis and Greenwood. The side walks are neatly maintained, making walking safe and providing safe places for little bike and trike riders to ride. Lion's Park is within easy walking distance, and beautiful, historic Cumberland is just a stone's throw away."
  • Dwhampton88
"I used to live in this area. Great neighborhood, safe and cozy. Neighborhood watch comes through every night to ensure the safety. "
