What Locals Say about Garden Springs

  • Trulia User
"there is a park just up the street. It is a friendly neighborhood. with the oaks condos right next door. "
  • Cheyenne L. W.
"I have lived here before and just moved back to this area. I can definitely say I feel comfortable going for walks with my kids and just generally being out and about. "
  • Stephany H.
"Three of my neighbors have been taken to jail in the last year. Mostly for drugs. Another neighbor murdered his girlfriend two days ago, so you be the judge. "
  • Stephany H.
"I’ve lived here for 3 years. There is constant noise from New Circle filtering into the bedroom and other noise from Alexandria. Neighbors mostly keep to themselves but duplexes can be very noisy. Children and unleashed dogs play in the front yards where there is heavy traffic. They stay in their own yards though."
  • Stephany H.
"People let their dogs run off leashes on a very heavy traffic road. This is the kind of place where people feel they have the authority to let their dogs do what they want-including being unleashed and a nuisance to neighbors. Renter and buyer beware! People will call animal control on your dog in a heartbeat. It happens all the time. "
  • L.j.a.S.
"Not the most kid friendly neighborhood as there are no parks or playgrounds except at the school. You do see older kids out, but honestly people don’t do much outside here. "
  • Devon
"Live in area. Love location and are don’t care for the apartment. However the area is peaceful and would consider buying a home in the area"
  • Dksmit2
"I just moved back to this neighborhood after living in a nearby neighborhood for the past 10 years. I love it here. Other neighborhoods in the city are not as friendly, convenient our nice AND chipset twice as much. It's very child & animal friendly plus there are a lot of great people who live here."
  • Rjphotography71
"People, places, things..... I love it because it is convenient and I feel safe. My boyfriend lives here. I just visit on the weekends."
  • Hughetth
"I haven't lived here long, but its very close to down town which means your close to restuarants, bars, and shopping. "
  • Melvin t.
"I’ve lived here about a year. Neighbors are friendly and neighborhood is quiet. Neighborhood also is seems to be pretty safe."
  • Teresa I. B.
"I have lived here for almost 3 years. Neighbors are friendly and quiet. Everybody helps each other out and it’s safe for the most part. Couldn’t be happier."
