  • Nickigilb
"I have lived over here for 8 years and I truly love this neighborhood! You can easily walk to amazing award wining restaurants, visit art galleries, attend seconds lines, Mardi Gras, head music at Tipitina’s, dog parks, shopping, this is a terrific neighborhood. "
  • "Love the area. Easy walk to everything - grocery, pharmacy, restaurants & shopping."
  • "This area is historic, it is diverse, it is trendy, it is ALIVE! One of the most creative, stable and beautiful areas in the city. Most of the residents have lived here for many years.. Great to Walk through the Neighorhood at any time! Awesome area, I totally enjoyed my time living there... "
  • "This area is very mixed and includes some very nice areas, and some less desireable areas. Closer to Magazine Street, the homes are generally more valuable and better maintained. The Magazine Street corridor offers an abundance of opportunities and distractions, as well as public transit. Since Katrina, this area has become much more desirable and has many young couples and families moving in. Sidewalks and streets gernerally are not very wheelchair friendly, so elderly and handicapped might want to consider more modern subdivisions."
